AMZ Transit Long Island City, NY
AMZ Transit claims to be the top FBA logistics company available. They do offer some other nice features outside of prepping, packing, and shipping. The benefit of AMZ Transit is that they provide a complete solution for your business. If you’re in need of an all-in-one solution like freight shipping, then this may be a good choice. Some features they offer that differentiate them from others:
- Product photography
- Customized prepping services
- Manufacturing coordination
FBAforward San Diego, CA – out of business
FBAforward similar features to AMZ Transit, but they do ship offer shipping from other Asian countries as well, like Thailand and Malaysia. One unique feature that FBAfoward offers is Amazon copywriting and listing optimization. FBAforward closed its operations in August 2018.
Logistics Plus Erie, PA & locations around the world
Logistics Plus has been in business for over 20 years and offers a multitude of services for sellers. They’re also part of Amazon’s Global Selling Network, and they offer returns management. One benefit of Logistics Plus is that they participate in Amazon’s Supply Chain Connect, so sellers can streamline their shipments to an Amazon warehouse from a 3rd party logistics provider.
FBA Express Rockland, MA
The pricing is laid out for their FBA preparation fees. However, their freight forwarding service seems a little vague on the details. Like other FBA service providers, they offer long-term storage.
Efulfillmentpro Spicewood, TX
This FBA provider offers a no-frill FBA prepping and shipping service. Their wholesale preparation cost is lower than other competitors at the time of this writing.
Prime Zero Prep Salem, NH
Prime Zero Prep’s model is subscription based, so if you don’t want to deal with a la carte or per-item fees, this may be a better option. If you’re dealing with high volume, then a subscription model may be a better fit for your business.
River Source Logistics Los Angeles, CA
River Source Logistics is another FBA prep service that charges relatively low fees. They are in Los Angeles, CA, so their proximity to major international shipping is a bonus since that will mean getting your orders sooner.
Prep It! Pack It! Ship It! Oceanside, CA
The prices and services offered by this company are transparent, and the more volume you have, the lower the fees.
FwdToAmazin handles FBA prep for Canadian businesses, and they offer to prep packages for international delivery. You’ll have to take care of the rest.
The amount of competition for FBA prep services is only going to grow as more and more Amazon 3rd party sellers join the marketplace. There’s a lot of room for expansion, and these companies are still evolving by offering new services and changing prices.
One important question you will want to ask is their turnaround time. Any business that takes too long to prep your products may end up costing you money. You’ll also want to pay attention to their customer service. Problems with their customer service early on will give you an idea of what to expect if you choose to do business with them.
Choose a business that fits your needs. If you need simple inspection, label, and packing services, then shopping based on price alone may be okay. If you plan on expanding and combining shipment for sea freight, then a company like AMZ Transit may be ideal since they offer all of these services in one package.
You may find that one of these companies is just what you need to streamline your business. The cost of these services may well be worth the amount of time you’ll free up from having to inspect, prep, ship, or even manage people to do the same.
